NASPA Board of Directors undergoes Corporate Governance Training

On Saturday August 23rd 2025, the Board of Directors of the Nevis Air and Seaports Authority underwent a course in Corporate Governance and its application to statutory bodies. Seven Board members attended along with the General Manager of NASPA.

It was a full day's session, held at the Mount Nevis Hotel which covered topics such as, The Role and Responsibilities of Directors, The Meaning, Relevance and Importance of Corporate Governance, Governance Ethics and Principles, and Strategic, Risk and Change Management.

The facilitator was Mr. Wendell Lawrence. Chairman of the Board, Mr. Mackee France said, "The event was a success, the entire day went well". According to the General Manager, Mr. Oral Brandy, "The objectives were met and the day was well spent". As indicated by all of the directors, they were very much enlightened.
