The Nevis Air and Sea Ports Authority is seeking candidates for the position of Marketing and Information Officer:

JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing and Information Officer will assist in maximizing the use of print, audio and video media, including social networks to achieve the goals of the Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and implementing procedures and strategies to ensure effective promotion and dissemination of information relating to NASPA.

MAIN DUTIES

·         Draft and implement procedures and methods of disseminating information of the Port Authority.

·         Manage website including upgrade, update and monitor.

·         Promote NASPA locally, regionally and internationally

·         Collect, collate and disseminate statistical and other information.

·         Inform the general public of specific notices such as Port Regulations and requirements.

·         Keep contact information updated for internal and external users.

·         Provide monthly written reports on relevant marketing and information issues relating to NASPA.

Requirements:             -Formal training in Marketing and or Public Relations

                                    -At least 2 years experience in a related field

                                    -Excellent skills with Social Media platforms

Salary                          Commensurate with qualifications and experience
